Ok hate is a strong word but we live with my mom and suddenly she can't even look at him, be in the same room or talk to him without him whining, throwing a little tantrum or just generally being mad at her presence. She is taking it in stride and at first I got onto him about it but I don't want him to associate her with getting in trouble so I've started ignoring the behavior. I just feel so bad for my mom!
