I met with my daughters teacher today and was told she is sitting on a C. This surprised me because she is very bright, an excellent reader and so witty and clever, but this clearly isn’t translating at school. The teacher identified spelling as a weak point for her but also said she rushes through her work and would do better if she took her time to do it well.
