Let’s talk about the sex talk

Basically, when did you/will you have the sex talk with your kiddos?My oldest is about to turn six and I’m pretty sure I knew what sex was around 6-7 years old but I don’t really remember how I learned. He walked into our room the other night with perfect timing as someone on tv said the word sex and he was paying attention. I know it’s just a matter of time before he asks. Should I have a sit down and talk to him or should I wait for him to ask? I also have a four year old son and I’m sure any info I present to older son will be passed down to younger son.
