My 3 yr old son manipulates me and his mother saying "I love you" for all purposes.

My son started a while ago to say "I love you" + kisses and hugs; usually he said it when he was a very good mood. Then he started to say it when we were about to scold him for bad behaviors. Ofc when he's doing well we answer him back with same amount of affection. But now, when he say it to fix his mess we don't know what to do, at the beginning we answered back just to don't make him feel bad. It is ok to ignore your son when he's saying "I love you"? Even if it's in a very manipulating way? What should we do?! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2le1BDH
