Is there ever a ‘right time’ to have a child?

I’m not sure if this is the right sub and apologies if it’s not.I feel like I am ready and have a good home, career etc but still feel like there’s something holding me back, my friends tell me that this is normal and no one ever feels ready to have a child, is this an opinion you share?
