What parts of parenting do you find to be excessively but unexpectedly draining?

For me, it’s trying to carry on a conversation with another adult while dealing with my kids (4 yrs, and almost 2 yrs old)I hosted a coffee/play date for a friend whose dad recently passed away. Trying to fit in any conversation (and expressing sympathy and be a listening ear) with our kids interrupting was ridiculously exhausting. I’m hindsight, I should’ve planned a kid-free visit somehow. Also, the fight with my oldest about bathtime is exhausting. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2BPELNJ
