Parenting double win thanks to a dream catcher

My 6 yo son has a very active imagination which leads to him having a lot of dreams, many of which seem to scare him and leave him not wanting to sleep in his room. I finally came across a dream catcher to buy for him, I figured it couldn't hurt. So the first night I showed it to him and told him that Native Americans put magic into it so that it catches bad dreams and lets the good ones go through, and lightly tapped it on his head to "activate" it. That was a couple weeks ago and he hasn't woken up scared from a dream since, and to make it even better he doesn't want to come into our room at night because the dream catcher won't protect him in there- DOUBLE WIN!!! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Pek27T
