The princess and her subjects

Background: Last night was our son's first band concert at his middle school. It was set up in the gym, bleachers set up on 2 sides, and the band playing in the middle. The concert was 45 mins like, about twice as long as my toddler was willing to wait. As my son was only in the first part, I took her to walk in the halls. The fun part: close to the end I decided to bring her back to the bleachers, and mom and family were on the opposite end from the door. So as we are walking pass the crowds, she stops and waves every few feet, and the crowd waves back, some people laughing as she does. As the band is playing the last song.
