Tween is using Discord App - Ban it or monitor it? What to watch for?

Coparenting 50/50 and kid has computer access at school so I only have limited control. Wondering what parents experiences have been like with Discord (chat thing for gaming, but clearly used for other private chatting). Anything I should be aware of? Ways to monitor?
