He refuses. We live in NC so winter's are fairly mild. He wears shorts to school everyday. He wore shorts and a hoodie to school this morning and it was 34°. Last school year the teacher sent several notes about his shorts. She was worried about him being cold. He never complains about being cold. My husband and I have decided that he is old enough to decide what to wear, but we are catching some grief from teachers/friends. The school dress code does not say anything about this.
