Hello fellow parents. I am a first time mom of a toddler who turned 2 last June. He is starting to hit. He won't hit other people, just me and objects when he gets mad. Also he will raise his arm up like he's about to hit. I look him in the eye and tell him sternly "Do not hit". But it's not working. Any tips on stopping this behavior? Should I spank?
