I'm a big fan of video games and tech, and I don't believe in hiding the world from my kids. But given an hour of in-game research and a half-hour of reading as many Common Sense Media reviews as I can, we've made the decision to not allow GTA for my 13 and 14 year old. Of course the kids' arguments are "I hear worse things in school" and "I just won't do the bad stuff (killing, prostitution, strip clubs, etc.) " But that just doesn't sell me on it.
