Every night my 4yo daughter and I have a routine where she says “Let’s talk about stuff!” and we decide on a topic to discuss. Sometimes dogs or trucks or the flu or Thanksgiving. Tonight was Christmas and when I brought up Santa, she said I’m silly and told me Santa isn’t real and it’s a game we play. Both of my kids have done this.
