Parenting LPT: if you're driving with an infant in the back seat, leave your phone, wallet, or briefcase next to them as soon as you get in the car.

Too many kids die every year from being forgotten in the car by a parent, mostly in hot but sometimes also in cold weather.Since linking is discouraged I won't link to any stories here, but there are tons of cases of parents who thought that this couldn't possibly happen to them, until it did. Mostly, it happens when the parent is sleep deprived, or because taking their kid with them wasn't part of their routine.Leaving something next to your kid is not perfect, but it can be a good way to help you remember to get them. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2AFbrrw
