This Sunday, I taught my 5 year old to ride a bicycle without training wheels for the first time. The moment I let go of the bicycle and he continued riding it (without falling down) was one of the most exciting moments I experienced as a father, and in life in general. It has been two days since it happened and I am still thinking about it continuously, smiling and talking to everyone I know about it. I am slightly surprised how strongly I felt about the event.
