Second baby - Exponentially harder?

So my wife and I are morons and our brains are starting to forget the sleepless nights, sheer panic, and exploding diapers of the first year with our lo, and we're starting to think about trying to add a second to make a pair. Now, we talked to friends with multi-baby constellations, and we're getting quite conflicting opinions on our basic question: Is the second baby difficulty on a logarithmic, linear, or exponential growth? And no, we are not robots. Basically, do you feel that the second was like adding an equal amount of work as the first, was it less (because you already were used to a lot of the quirks a baby entailed, and had frameworks down), or was it much worse (because now you're juggling two poopdemons with conflicting habits/schedules/illnesses)?I'd be very happy to hear some opinions on the matter :) via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2d44wvD
