I'm so tired of seeing kids happily skip into childcare or kindergarten in the morning!

...When almost every day is a struggle for us. Our 2.5 year old is an amazing, bright, chatty, spark of a girl, but is slow to warm to people and situations and is sensitive. We know for a fact that she has fun there, so there's no real problem. But she's just sensitive. It's really tiring when I'm having to give her another big hug and pep talk while other kids run in the door, leaving their parents behind and going straight into playing! We always acknowledge her feelings a little (but not too much) and tell her that she always has fun there and we always come and get her. I'm so bored of it even typing this!It happens with relatives and get togethers as well. We feel like we are getting judged by others because she's clingy or a bit scared to start with. Without fail, after half an hour she's racing around having heaps of fun like the others (as long as she's well rested, not sick etc) - but we feel like the judgement lingers.Likewise, the morning drop offs really affect the first hour or so of my day afterwards!Just a little rant! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2dnKYo5
