Feeling disturbed about the inaction of a mother over suspected abuse of a 10 month old, from a post in another sub

I just read a post in the relationship sub about a mother concerned that her husband is abusing their 10 month old daughter. She says that she gets bruises often after being alone with her husband, and has done for the past 7 months. That means the abuse started when she was only 3 months old. The baby is scared of her father, crawls away from him and crys if she's with him.How is the mother not immediately leaving?? How has she let this go on for 7 whole months??My heart is absolutely breaking for that little baby. She is supposed to be cared for and loved, instead she is being abused and her mother doesn't seem to be taking things seriously enough.I just can't get my head around this. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/32Xniwd
