Compliment the other parent to your kids

I’ve been doing this a lot lately where I’ll compliment my wife to my kids even if she’s not around. I’ll say something like “wow! You’re so thoughtful, you must get that from mommy. She’s always thinking of others.” Or “didn’t mommy make us the best dinner ever?! She’s a really good cook.” I think it’s a creative way to think positively of the other parent. Especially since it can be easy to mumble under your breath about minor irritations, these little guys hear everything. This helps restore the balance. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Yli8GJ
