Seeking advice and experience on if and how parents check out the parents of your children’s playmates. My children attended a different school this year and made many new friends. I have briefly met several of the parents but have not spent time with any of the families. My kids are asking for play dates and sleepovers now that school will soon out for the summer. I may or may not be present for the play dates, depending on which child and time of day or day of week.Do you check out parents before arranging a play date? Is talking on the phone adequate?Before your kids have a sleepover at someone’s house, what do ask the other parents?
