After another battle of wills with my youngest (3F) over something really petty, I (40M) started thinking about this question. It surprises me on a daily basis how much my kids are always ready for a battle about anything and everything! Simple things like getting hair brushed in the morning has her fully committing to war over who brushes it, what part of the room she stands while it gets brushed, if it gets brushed at all, what colour clasps etc etc. The level of determination they show for all these wars is incredible.
