Were you scared you would hate your kid?

This is going to sound awful but obviously I'm dealing with a lot right now. I just found out my girlfriend is pregnant she wants to keep it. I have never wanted a kid. Everyone says it's "the most amazing experience" but all I can think is what if I end up hating and resenting the kid and my girlfriend?​I'm sure everyone is scared of being a parent and that responsibility at some point. I'm not scared of the responsibility per se.
