Willby's Colic Mix

Thought I would share as this has been a God send for us.Our son is 5 months old and has not technically been diagnosed with Colic yet since he was born he has been a terrible sleeper, he screams and tenses up his legs a few times each day and night, has some terrible bouts of gas, throws up etc.We had all of the right testing done, plenty of blood tests, seen a haematologist, seen the GP and the paediatrician many times and we just assumed he was a bad sleeper.Normally while awake he would usually be OK and quite content but we noticed he would like to scrunch his legs up and occasionally he'd be in a bad mood, bed times were the worst. So anyway a lady from my wife's yoga recommended we try Willby's Colic Mix my wife spoke with them, they went through a questionnaire and the gentleman over the phone highly recommended it said our baby boy sounded like he had colic.Put it this way that was about 72 hours ago and he has had more uninterrupted sleep in these last 3 days then he has had his entire little baby life so much so we thought there must be something in it tat makes them sleep, apparently not, the pharmacist tells us he is just catching up on his sleep, it's perfectly normal and all of his customers say the same thing.Basically I got home the first night he was asleep after my wife gave it to him and nursed him. He woke up only once for a feed, and once just lost his dummy and needed comforting.2nd day, slept like an angel at one stage we thought there might be drugs or something in there because he had a 3 hour nap.Night time again same.Sunday was the same although Sunday night he was overtired and putting him down was a bit more of a struggle bit still nothing compared to how he was before hand. Slept through the night except for his 3am feed.He would throw up a lot, sometimes up to 7 times in the morning but with this he has thrown up only once in 3 days. He seems to have lengthened out too, I know that sounds crazy, but he was always scrunching himself up, I guess his tummy was sore and it felt better that way and even when he sleeps his legs now lay flat like our daughters used to instead of him pulling his knees up and crossing them over. Also he doesn't fell as tense and even his calf muscles feel more relaxed. We are in Australia but I am certain they make something similar for people elsewhere.Pretty much its a 3 ingredient mix, no drugs, not even preservatives. They make it fresh daily from what I have read and it only lasts about 10 days in the fridge. It smells a bit funny and we joke that he smells of soup now, but he takes it well, I tasted it and it just tastes like dill only sweeter. You have to give it to them 4-5 minutes prior to nursing or feeding. It's kind of pricey but I guess if it works it works and apparently after about 3-4 bottles the babies gut should have had time to heal, develop the right good bacteria and no more should be required.Fingers crossed, thought I would share. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2fUm77D
