Our 15 year old male refuses to give us the phone numbers of his friends and most particularly the parents contact information of parties he wants to attend.

If your 15 year old was going to a party with friends you don’t know or don’t know well do you think it’s good parenting to want to have the name and phone number of the parent? He refuses to provide us any information and tells us we are overbearing nonetheless he doesn’t get to do much socially besides hang out with kids who we know the parents. We feel bad but not bad enough to bend on this rule.
