Hi all, our 3 year old girl started preschool recently and seems to be wrestling with the concept of friends. Though somewhat introverted, I know that she plays and gets along with the kids in her class, but was surprised the other day when she said that she was sad because so and so didn't want to be her best friend and that sometimes she felt lonely.I'm sure all this is normal given that she's in a new place with new people and imagine that most kids her age struggle in terms of navigating friendships, but am curious whether anyone has experienced something similar and what tips this sub might provide in helping her work through her feelings.
