Parents who had to raise your kids without any family or friends' help - is it manageable?

I am now in a decent place financially to have children, but my partner and I are both immigrants working full time with no family or friends circle around for support, our family lives a continent away and they are unable to visit. I worry that I will feel lonely and stressed without that. Have any of you ever been in that situation? Is it manageable?For background purposes, I am in the UK.
