Workouts with a four year old


I try to stay active and do something like walking, running, or jumping on the trampoline with my son. Sometimes he likes to ride his bike beside me and other times he likes to run with me.Recently, I started doing pushups and other strength training exercises. He tries to copy me. Sometimes he tries to lift 6 lbs weights with me (which are too heavy), so I was thinking about getting some 1 lb weights so that he can "workout" with me.My questions:Are the weights a good idea or should I stick to bodyweight workouts/yoga when we workout together?If you do workout with your child, what kind of routine works best for you and how long do you exercise together? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/31SI8ew
