How do you keep the fear of yours and your child(ren)’s fragile mortality under control??

I honestly never really thought or feared death too much until my daughter came along 5 years ago. Since then, the mere thought of her dying or me dying before getting to see her grow up (and therefore completely screwing up her life, since I’m pretty sure kids don’t exactly bounce back when their mother dies while they’re young) absolutely sends me into a fear-stricken tailspin.Life just seems so freaking fragile. And my fear is robbing me of joy. It seriously brings me to tears and panic on a regular basis just imagining various scenarios that either end in her death or mine. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Wkb65H
