Here we are again, sitting on the bathroom floor...

My daughter had had issues with poop almost her whole life. Right before she turned 1 she started holding. She'd go over a week. 10 days was average but sometimes it was longer. She had miralax everyday, it never really helped other than keeping it from being painful, which is important. She's almost 4 now. And finally, for the past 2 weeks she's pooped on the potty with no fuss ever 2 to 4 days. She was rewarded. We were all proud. She talks about going to school next year because she can potty now. Then this weekend she didn't go. We asked. We gave miralax, we watched for her "holding stance". Nothing. She's been eating like a bottomless pit. But nothing has come out. So no poop since Thursday and now it's Monday. She started holding, and I stead of goin with no fuss when I see her, she throws fits again. Sit her on the potty and she just refuses to try, again. We were doing so well.So here I am, on the floor of the bathroom, just waiting her out, again. I thought this year's long struggle was coming to an end. But now it feels like we have to start over again. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Pqzkdh
