Today on a play date my 5 year old pushed my 1 year old down a flight of stairs. She's fine, thankfully. We asked him why he did that and he doesn't have any real answer but is acting like it's no big deal. Tonight he was even joking about doing it to someone else. He is not a violent kid, just your typical hyper 5 year old.
