At the mall of America with my 5 kids. I was looking up the directory for a restaurant. Less than 20 feet from me is an escalator. My youngest son who's 3 and a half walked right up to the emergency stop box, opened it and pressed the button. If you'd asked me 4 years ago about parenting I would have said something like "It's really not as hard as people say." then this little guy came along.
