Summer and music lessons

This year my five-year-old took violin lessons through our local Suzuki school. He didn't always love to practice, but overall it was a positive experience. It's almost June, and he's obviously ready for a break from both school and music. I'm happy to give it, but I also don't want to set him back so much from lack of practice for him to find next year boring redoing lost skills. I don't care about his technical level as long as he's having fun. The music school is closed now until September with the exception of a single week of camp, which he is attending. Any advice? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2s3Ie18
