My son has been struggling with abdominal pain for a few months. We took him to a specialist who diagnosed him with GERD and prescribed him omeprazole about 6 weeks ago. He started having severe abdominal pain, so I took him to the emergency room on Friday. After getting a CT scan, they discovered he had multiple kidney stones in both kidneys including one that was 5 mm X 4mm.I'm currently in the emergency room with him again since there wasn't much they could do besides refer him to a pediatric urologist on Friday. They're now going to transfer him to the local children's hospital. What happens next?
