I have a nine year old who is absolutely petrified of the dark and because of this he has been sleeping in my bed every night.We have an upcoming rental inspection in the next week and I said to him that he needs to clean his bedroom which usually results in a tantrum, though he had no issue today. When he finally finished cleaning he came out and told me that he wants to try and sleep in his own bed tonight and that he will sleepover in my bed every third night. 🤣This is a really huge step for my son and I’m so proud of him. Everyone told me to make him sleep in his own bed sooner but taking it at his pace has seemed to work. Yay 😃 via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2zmwsYH
