Apologize to Kids

I don't remember my dad ever apologizing to us kids. Ever. I think it was a power thing? Luckily, he was a good dad, but it still bothers me. Now, I freely apologize to my kids whenever I've made a mistake. I think it builds mutual respect and teaches them by example to own up to their mistakes and repair relationships. What do you think? Do you apologize to your kids? Do you find it hard? (I think at this point my dad probably feels physically incapable of choking out an "I'm sorry"). via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2UW0wo3
