Long story short, 5 years, 1 month and 1 day ago he broke both bones in his left forearm at school during a relay race. Today, he broke his tibia in a spiral fracture while roller skating at school. At first I thought it was just a sprain because his pain level wasn't as high as when he broke his arm.Tomorrow we're having the doctor get us a referral to orthopedics so he can get his leg set and in a cast.In worse news too besides this, the school nurse made an off hand remark that CPS might get called on us because even though the break happened at school, this type of break is common in abuse cases and "good samaritans" at the school just might go ahead and call CPS even though he went to the doctors right away and we did everything that good parents should do... via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2W6dQ5H
