Toddler screaming -

We have a 2 1/2 year old boy, who absolutely loves to scream. Light screams when he's happy/playing, laughing screams during chases, and blood curdling-ear piercing screams when he's angry. It's those last ones we're trying to really put an end to.We've read all the books and online advice - ignore it, talk to them gently, try to get them to whisper, divert attention with something else, discuss inside/outside voices, etc etc. None of it works. It's usually the result of him wanting something/can't have it or not wanting to leave somewhere fun - the type of stuff we're just not going to, or even can't, give in to.At this point we've tried so many techniques, I'm worried it's only making it worse - he certainly knows now that screaming is what gets the most reaction out of us.Anyone have any experience with this? We're at a total loss right now. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/293JYC6
