My wife and I are completely at a loss. We've tried everything - letting him play with the toothbrush to familiarise himself, different baby toothpastes, different baby toothbrushes (finger toothbrushes too), tips from friends (positions, games, etc), ... NOTHING WORKS! At the moment, I hold my son's mouth open for about a minute while my wife brushes. He hates this of course, but we feel we have no option if we don't want him to develop cavities.
