We're in a small house right now and are considering transitioning our incoming baby directly from sidecar co-sleeping to a Montessori-style floor bed, probably around 4-5 months. I like floor beds for little kids, but I've never done an immediate transition. It's always been once the tot is outgrowing their crib.Anyone tried floor beds with a baby? Did it work? I worry that it'll seem too big and unconfined for the little baby psychology, but maybe I'm projecting.
