8-year-old son wets the bed every single night; always has

So my son has never had a dry night; ever. He wears goodnites so it’s never really been that big of problem or hassle, but maybe that’s an issue? We figured he’d outgrow it, but now we’re wondering if the goodnites actually enable his bed-wetting. At this point we can’t imagine not using the pull-ups - he’d just wet the bed instead. But we also feel like on the current path he’ll still be wearing goodnights at 12 or 13.We are well aware of all the bed-wetting advice and treatments (and been to the doctor who says he’ll outgrow it). But my question is this: has anyone been in a similar situation where their child has never been dry, then by 9 or 10 they start to have dry pull-ups on their own, then become dry full-time? Or do you think if we continue simply using goodnites we’re on a path to teenage bed-wetting?Bed-wetting can be super stressful for all involved - parents changing wet sheets every single night and the child for having wet sheets every night. The goodnites solve all that...but we haven’t seen an improvement at all. Help, please! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2wCXgTM
