My son (who will be 8yo in October) is to me the "perfect age". He's old enough to have fun doing activities that I'm genuinely interested in (eg. disc golfing, running, jokes, science, etc..) yet he's young enough to still want to spend as much time with me as possible. I'm afraid he's going to grow up and not want to spend time with me. As he grows, I find parenting to be easier and easier and more enjoyable. I guess my question is, does this go away when they become teenagers? Is it a certainty that I will become "uncool"?
