So today, my husband, our two kids, my ex and the daughter we placed for open adoption when we were 17 had a massive war with the balls from the 4 year old's ball pit. I was so happy and at peace with life, right as small plastic balls were flying past my head. My ex and daughter had come to visit so we could go see Moana. We're such good friends with my ex that I usually don't even refer to him as that. He's just my friend and if people want to delve deeper, he's also my daughter's father.
