9 month old baby checking into hospital for surgery, questions

We got the news our son will need a balloon valvuloplasty on January 9th. He'll spend one night in the hospital. We have the papers telling us about his fasting needs, but what do we bring to the hospital? He's on formula and eats table food. Do we pack all that? Or do they feed him? We're told we can stay the night with him. Does he sleep in a crib, in his own room, and we get cots? Anyone with this experience? Staying at CHOC.Called and left a couple messages for the cardiologist, but thought I'd ask here. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2hrsh2v
