4 year old naps at prek but not at home

Ok parent elite. My 4 year old is about the best kid I can ask for. Does what he's told for the most part, good reports from school, with the occasional normal hiccup once in a while.Biggest issue is naps. At school he naps every day, Monday thru Friday. On weekends though, no nap. We've talked with his teachers, aligned his nap schedule at home with that of school, even down to the same routine. We don't do lots of things that deviate his schedule on the weekends and he wakes and sleeps at the same time morning and night.What could we be doing to improve our chances?? We are open to any and all advice. He naps (or tries) in his bed in his room with lights off.
