Social services removed my cousin's children from her. My family may be gaining custody of them. She is very cooperative, actually asking us to apply for custody. They are a 6yo boy and 4yo girl. My family consist of me, my parents, and my brother and sister in law, all above the age of 20. The children will most likely be with us long term, possibly even adopted. Does anyone have any advice, about fostering, children coming from difficult backgrounds, or even just age/gender related advice? Any and all advice is welcome.
