I've searched for similar threads and can't find any, although I'm sure there will be lots. Please link if you know of any.My sister and her long term bf broke up last year. Their son has never been a well behaved kid anyway, but as he's getting older his behaviour is terrible.It's definitely my sister's/the dad's fault. They buy him things constantly, there are no real consequences to his bad behaviour, and she's constantly making excuses for his rudeness (he's tired etc).I know it's not easy because the communication between my sister and the dad isn't great, however I'd like the give her advice without offending her. Especially because I have a son who is a similar age, and I don't want to sound arrogant, but he's generally well mannered and kind.I can't even talk to my nephew, he won't hold a conversation with me unless he wants something.
