My son is 5 and in kindergarten and there is a boy in the class that keeps touching my son's private parts. This is all just word of mouth from what my son has been telling me but the teacher is also aware of the issue. According to my son this kid, let's call him John, follows my son into the bathroom and after my son goes pee he grabs my son's private parts. He has dug his nails into his gentials, slapped him there, and even put his hand in the stream of pee causing my son to get pee on himself. My son loves school and this morning he said he didnt want to go to school anymore cause this kid keep touching him in his private area. After the first incident I brought it up to the teacher and she said she knew about it (my son told her after it happened) and she now keeps them separate in class and requires the other kid to use the restroom with a chaperone. But after these measures were put in place my son said it's still happening.I have an appointment to speak with the student administrator who I guess works with issues between kids, but I wanted to ask you guys if you ever experienced anything like this with your kids? Is this normal boy behavior that I'm over reacting too? Should I request my boy, or the boy, be moved to a new classroom? Should I be worried about this other kid being a potential victim of some kind of sexual abuse at home, or is that jumping to conclusions? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2P5S2Xp
