He said a 3 word sentence!

For a two year old this might not seem like a big deal but our son has a mild case of autism. He’s not the worst but still not the best in terms of being behind.Speech has been an area where we have really struggled. Lately it’s just been screams. Which is frustrating to say the least. After his diagnosis we spent months on a waiting list for different types of therapy to help with speech and some other things.He started ABA therapy maybe a month and a half ago. I know people have said that they believe ABA is basically abuse but we spoke to the place about our concerns and the place even has a live feed you can watch and believe me I watch it. The place is awesome.Seems like over the past two weeks his speech is just exploding. We went from thinking he may never talk to a 3 word sentence today. So proud of my lil dude.Gives me a lot of hope for the future. I just want to put this out there for any parents with autistic children who have decided against ABA therapy because they’ve heard it’s abusive to children. If they have to restrain them or be physical it is not a good program. Do your research. Talk to parents that have been there.Kids are crazy.
