Is it my child or the childcare?

As a background, my daughter is 4.5 and staying with me half of the time (223 schedule). She's been going to Kindercare for like 2 years now. My child has always been a little shy and it took her quite a while to get used to the school and she finally has (or had) some friends that she names everyday when I pick her. But recently it looks to me like she is not happy going there and she doesn't play with her usual friends anymore. At playtime outdoor, she just sits there on a bench lonely for a while, not joining anyone (I stay and watch from distance). It's just not normal for a kid of her age who's been going to the same school for 2 years. I occasionally ask her with whom she's playing with at school, and usually she says she plays by herself (a few names came up, but no longer the usual names). A few days ago she said that she wants to join the kids sometimes but they don't pay attention to her. To be fair, when I ask if she's happy throughout the day, she usually says yes, but every morning is painful to leave. The teachers there don't seem to care much either, although to be honest I don't know what I should expect from them.I know it's November already and next year she will be at Pre-K at a different school but I'm wondering if we should try another school/childcare facility. Or is this a problem with my child that I need to work on whatever school she goes to? At home I spend all my time with her until she goes to bed. Any advice is appreciated! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2NehGXj
