So I didn't cause any drama or anything when it happened but it just keeps playing on my mind and annoying me.Basically my LO is 6 months old (getting close to 7) so we've recently started on solids. We were at a get together at a friend's place last weekend, it was a breast cancer fundraiser, so there were some cupcakes decorated on top with lots of icing to be nipples. One of my friends was holding LO and we were taking a group photo, lots of people holding the cupcakes up to their boobs. Anyways, after the photo, maybe a minute later, I walked over to my friend holding LO and a second friend had a cupcake shoved in LO's mouth so she was sucking on the icing. As soon as I saw it I pulled my friends hand back to get the cupcake out of her mouth, my friend straight away asked whether she wasn't allowed to have it and I said no, and that she's can't have added sugar and she apologised, it was all over super quickly. It just really annoys me. Honestly, I would never feed such a young baby, especially without checking first, they don't know if she has any allergies or what we are allowing her to eat. It feels so trivial typing it all out but I feel better getting it off my chest. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2oF6ElT
